Message	Torque, specifically low end torque. The GTO reaches peak torque by 4000 RPM, which doesn't seem that low actually. (for comparison a 2000-2002 S4 will reach peak torque at 1750 RPM). If all you want to do is go fast in a straight line, get a Mustang/F-Body, or other domestic V8. If you want to go fast in a straight line AND be able to turn AND all the while look like you are driving a supermodel in a flesh rodeo, then get or build a TTZ. "...Downpipes own.
